We are looking forward to rediscovering the world through the eyes of our
child. We can’t wait to experience all the firsts with him or her:
first words, first steps, and the first day of school. We’re excited for
Christmas mornings, sandcastles at the beach,
and trips to the zoo. We’re both eagerly anticipating the whole
parenting experience, from middle-of-the-night feedings and dirty diapers,
to learning to drive and first dates. From Sunday school to college graduation,
we will encourage our child to do his or her best and achieve his or her goals and
dreams. Above all, we will shower our child with love. We have been very blessed in
life with our marriage, the love of our family and friends, and our careers, but we
know that our lives are not yet complete. It will take the laughter of children to
make our house a home. |
